S Sivakumar, Head Agri & I T Business

S Sivakumar oversees Agri and IT Businesses of the Company. He was the Divisional Chief Executive of the Agri Business Division till November 2017. He is the Chairman of Technico Agri Sciences Limited, and Vice Chairman of ITC Infotech India Limited and its subsidiaries in the UK and USA.

The e-Choupal initiative was developed and executed under Sivakumar's leadership of the Agri Business Division. Topper of the Class of 1983 from the Institute of Rural Management Anand, (IRMA), Sivakumar worked with a farmers' cooperative for six years before joining ITC in 1989.

Sivakumar is the Chairman of the National Agricultural Council of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Vice Chairman of the World Economic Forum's Global Agenda Council on Social Innovation, and a member on the Board of Governors of Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA).

Among other organisations. Sivakumar has served on the Boards of India's National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), and Indo US Knowledge Initiative on Agriculture, the Private Sector Committee of the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR), and UN Global Compact's Core Advisory Group to develop Sustainable Agriculture Business Principles.

Rajnikant Rai, Divisional Chief Executive

image of Rajnikant Rai Rajnikant Rai is the Divisional Chief Executive of ITC Agri Business since June 2020. Prior to this, he was the Chief Operating Officer of the business from March 2020. In his long stint in the Company, Rai has held various leadership roles in agribusiness including that of Executive Vice President, Operations. He was the national head of the path breaking e-Choupal project. Rai is a graduate in Economics and holds a PG Diploma in International Business Management. He worked in a Government organization in Madhya Pradesh and then with Britannia before joining ITC in 1990. He is Executive Committee Member on several industry bodies and commodity exchanges.

 

L Prabhakar, Vice President, Human Resources

image of L PrabhakarsL Prabhakar is Vice President, Human Resources, Agri-Business Division. An alumnus of NIT, Surathkal and XLRI, Jamshedpur, he has been with ITC for over 30 years. He was also associated with TVS Motors for 4 years and Murugappa Group for 3 years.

During his tenure with ITC, he has worked in Leaf Tobacco Division, Tobacco Division, the Information Technology business and in Corporate HR. In his over 30 years of experience, he has handled a wide range of responsibilities including Industrial Relations, Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management, Learning & Development, Social Initiatives and Business Planning.

He was actively associated with National HRD Network and was on the Board of the National Committee for 6 years in different capacities. He was also a member of CII - HR & ER Panel for Telengana and also Southern Region. He is currently a member of EFSI - Telengana and Andhra Pradesh.

DVR Rajiv Mohan, Vice President - Commodities

image of DVR Rajiv MohanDVR Rajiv Mohan is Vice President - Commodities, Agri Business Division. A graduate in Commerce and an MBA from Karnatak University, he joined the company in 1988, in the Leaf Tobacco business (ABD - ILTD), wherein he was involved in various facets of Operations, Exports and Supply Chain. After a successful stint in various operations, he took over as General Manager - Exports in 2002, and was instrumental in significantly enhancing the global presence of ABD - ILTD through an aggressive market expansion and customer acquisition strategy. This led to a significant increase in export turnover and a footprint in all continents covering major international customers. From 2004 to 2011, he was also instrumental in developing the Spices Business with a specific focus on evolving a customized supply chain and differentiated products and services, resulting in rapid scale up of the business in domestic and export markets. He was also vested with the responsibility of building the Supply Chain vertical for the Leaf Tobacco business.

At present, he leads the Commodities portfolio of the Agri Business Division with focus on Value Added commodities comprising spices, wheat, oilseeds, coffee, fruit-pulp and marine products.

He was selected as the 'Best Regional Young Manager' in the National Competition for Young Managers conducted by AIMA in 1990.
